Who are we?

Entropia is a mobile business telecommunications network designed for the professional user. Through the use of trunking technology, optimal radio traffic for both speech and data communication is possible between radiotelephones and walkie-talkies themselves and to a central point, the radio room. Joint use is a thing of the past, and a customer does not need to invest in infrastructure.

The Entropia service

Entropia is an economical nationwide radiotelephone network in Belgium and the Netherlands, with local walkie-talkie coverage designed for professional business communications. The system is based on the so-called ‘trunking principle’ and is extremely reliable, fast and flexible.

With Entropia, companies have optimal control over the primary business processes. Communication between mobile end-users and between a mobile end-user and a central point is possible in the form of speech as well as data.

The Entropia subscription can be fully adjusted to the average expenditure per month, the area of coverage and the required facilities. The subscription usually includes a flat-fee rate per month and per walkie-talkie. This way, users can budget their usage costs for a longer period in advance, without surprises. So, it can be geared to communication with PABX or outbound PSTN on the public telephone network and to, for example, priority calls.

A technical tour de force is the direct link to the Internet via our datacenter in Brussels. Entropia now offers a gateway between the Trunked Radio Network and all conventional networks. Other trunking operators worldwide can now make use of Entropia’s data-applications.

The only thing they need is a connection between the infrastructure and the Internet.
