Entropia demonstrates
remote control of building ventilation fans

In case of an emergency, the control room can switch off the mechanical ventilation fans of buildings at lightning speed using ComBus’ control room software

This prevents polluted gases from being sucked in, while residents and visitors are advised to stay indoors with the windows and doors closed.

Hundreds of buildings are now equipped with the BOA-V (Remote Operation of Fans) solution supplied by Entropia. The solution consists of a BOA-V unit which is connected to a highly reliable data communication network and which is controlled from control room software from Tensing or CityGIS.

Modern buildings have increasingly better insulation, which makes balanced mechanical ventilation extra important. Being able to switch off the fans quickly and automatically in schools, cinemas and housing units, for example, contributes to a safer living environment.
