Motorola Solutions integrates the latest TETRA X-Core switch technology at Entropia


Moordrecht / Oostkamp – November 2021 – Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MSI) is impeaching the new geographically redundant X-Core switch technology on the nationwide Entropia TETRA network in the Netherlands that provides secure mobile mission-critical communications. In the meantime, this network has grown into the largest Motorola TETRA network in the Benelux.

The new digital radio technology will enable all Entropia customers such as Special Investigating Officers (BOA), security sector, airports, the petrochemical, and logistics sector, monitoring of sewage pumping stations, dike monitoring, control of tram lines, measuring underground water levels, and so on ... equipped with a unique state-of-the-art modern switching technology.

The new TETRA X-Core network will also ensure the interconnect between TETRA and broadband such as 4G and 5G. In addition to the national TETRA network, broadband connectivity with an independent Entropia-SIM is now also interfaced to connect the integration between narrowband and broadband.
